Jemison High School fell behind early to Northside High School and could not mount the comeback, falling short 47-12.

Northside built a 33-0 lead early on, but with under a minute to go in the first half, Luke Gann found Chaz Melton for a six-yard touchdown to get the Panthers on the board at 33-6. Gann posted a score himself late in the game with a 26-yard touchdown run.

Jemison (0-7) is looking for its first win of the season, and will look to notch it on Oct. 18 traveling to Demopolis High School for its next game in Class 5A Region 3 play. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
