The eighth annual Chilton County Best of the Best contest is now entering the voting stage, and it is now more important than ever to make your vote count. The contest’s nomination round, which was from Feb. 26 to March 15, has concluded, and the ballot for voting round is being created that features the nominees with the most nominations during the round.

The voting round for the contest will open on April 22 on The Clanton Advertiser website, and people may vote once per day for their favorites. Categories will have a differing number of choices due to certain categories getting less than five nominations, or having more than five nominees tied, which would advance all of them to the voting round.

The winner in each category, and the two runner-ups, will be recognized when the winners are announced in late May. The voting round concludes on May 10, and the winners will begin being notified on May 13, with a list of all of the winners being released in the summer edition of Peach Living magazine in July.
