The 2023 Miss Blackberry Pageant is right around the corner, and the 2022 Blackberry Queens are gathering to welcome all the new competitors on Oct. 15. Registration for the 2023 Miss Blackberry Pageant will be at the Jemison Municipal Complex from 1:30-3:30 p.m on Oct. 15. The 2022 Blackberry Queens — Karlee Cummings, MaryJane Cole, Elizabeth Eason, Carolina Thrash and Bayler Kole Mims will be in attendance to welcome in the competitors for this year’s pageant.

Age groups for the 2023 pageant will be the Tiny Miss Blackberry (ages 3-4), Little Miss Blackberry (ages 5-7), Young Miss Blackberry (ages 8-11), Junior Miss Blackberry (ages 12-15) and Miss Blackberry (ages 16-19). Competitors must be a resident of Chilton County.

There will also be a photogenic competition open for each age category, and the winners do not have to present at the pageant to win.
