Parole denied, date reset for Chilton offender

The Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles held 31 hearings on June 7 and handed out parole decisions, to one of whom was convicted in Chilton County. Brandon O’Neal Nunn was denied parole but received a reset date of June 1, 2026.
Nunn is currently serving a 10-year sentence for burglary and domestic violence charges that are being serving concurrently. Nunn was sentenced on Aug. 26, 2021. Nunn’s sister, Jessica Washington, and mother, Fannie McCary, spoke in favor of parole being granted at the June 7 hearing. Doris Hancock and Sarah Green of the attorney general’s office both spoke on behalf of denied parole.
