Hatley Health Care and Rehab in Clanton celebrated National Skilled Nursing Care Week, formally known as National Nursing Home Week, from May 15-19. Chilton County Probate Judge Jason Calhoun read a proclamation on May 15 which included the theme for the week this year, cultivating kindness. The staff and the people they provide care to released balloons after the proclamation was read to start the week-long celebration.

The Hatley Health Care and Rehab staff will be served lunch each day, and games and events are planned throughout the week for employees and residents. Door prizes will also be handed out during the week.

“The staff of Hatley Health Care appreciates the support and recognition from the community as we put all efforts into providing quality care to enhance the quality of life for our residents,” a press release from Hatley Health Care and Rehab said.
