Chilton Leadership Alumni from classes 1998-2013 met at the 6th Street Warehouse in Clanton on March 21. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss a revival of the program with plans for the next class to begin September 2023.

Chilton County Extension Office and the Chilton County Chamber of Commerce have partnered to bring this program back to the county. The Chilton Leadership program was instrumental in recognizing the leadership abilities of various county leaders and cultivating those abilities. During the 10 years the program was in existence, there were numerous class projects developed and launched into the county.  Among the projects were work performed around the courthouse, assistance with the creation of the YMCA soccer field, work performed at Higgins Ferry Park, and the implementation of the Chilton Leadership Scholarship Fund to deserving high school seniors.

Organizers are eager to bring this wonderful program back to the residents of Chilton County, and we need the help of Chilton Leadership alumni to do so.  If you were unable to attend the meeting, you can still help.
