William Keilan Gore, 67, of Clanton passed away on January 19, 2023 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.
He was born on September 26, 1955 in Clanton. He was the son of the late James Austin and Bertie Mae Gore.
Keilan was employed with Blue Circle Cement, Inc. for a number of years and then the Chilton County Board of Education for 21 years. He was a deacon of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church.
He loved his church and loved the Lord. His family was always his priority. He was an avid fisherman from an early age and was a friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ann Gore; two daughters, Roslyn (David) Driver of Clanton, AL, and Wendy (Brent) Morrison of Vernon, AL; Grandchildren Taylor and Olivia Driver, and Austin and Bella Morrison; a brother, Jim (Janet) Gore; and a mother-in-law, Jean Woodfin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Janice Jones, and brothers Larry Gore and Wilbur Gore.
Friends and family will be received Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023 at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church from 1-3 p.m. with services following at 3 p.m.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Bethel Primitive Baptist Church.
