The Chilton-Clanton Public Library said goodbye recently to a dear friend and coworker Nell Verner. Staff celebrated Nell’s retirement with tasty food, many laughs, and some tears. She started at the library in 2016 as a library clerk and eventually migrated to book inspection and book repair. You can ask anyone at the library, and they will tell you that Nell is very dependable, friendly, has an excellent work ethic and is a superb cook.
“Overall, Nell is a terrific worker and a kind friend who will be seriously missed at the library,” library director Darlene Brock said.
Staff wish her well on this next chapter in your life.
