The Chilton County Home Builders Association (CCHBA) drew a large crowd for its Membership Meeting and Fish Fry on August 11. Around 40 members, including two brand new members as well as CCHBA Hall of Fame members Wayne Nelson and Jane Conradi, attended the event, which took place at Goose Pond Park Pavilion.

They were joined by two special guests, Clanton Mayor Jeff Mims and Jason Reid, vice president of external affairs for the Home Builders Association of Alabama.

After dinner, the members and guests participated in a nail driving contest. Emerati Cato was the winner of the women’s division and Tommy Bishop was the winner of the men’s division.

The CCHBA is a group of local business people related to the home building industry who strive to promote and maintain building excellence and professionalism. They are committed to improving the profitability of their members through education, networking and community service.
