First time contestant Lilly Maddox of Clanton was crowned 2022 Little Miss Peach on June 18.

She said she was excited to win.

Lilly said she thought her interview was the reason she won.

The interview is held before the onstage portion of the contest.

“She said she made them laugh, and when she came back she had the biggest smile on her face,” mom Caitlin Maddox said.

Lilly’s dad Bryan Maddox of WBM Aviation Services was her sponsor.

During her farewell speech, 2021 Little Miss Peach Nora Kate Camarillo encouraged the next Little Miss Peach to enjoy every minute.

“I pray you have the best year,” Nora Kate said.

Adleigh Ash was the casual wear winner and first alternate. Madilyn Burnett was second alternate.

Third alternate was Aubrie Roberts. Fourth alternate was Harper Hubbard. The coloring contest winner was Kilee Gray.
