TROY — Maris Green of Jemison was among the students recognized for outstanding achievements in academics, leadership and service during Troy University’s annual Honors Convocation.
Green received the Dr. Sam Shelton Undergraduate Political Science Award.
The Honors Convocation was held on Monday, April 18, at the Troy Campus with Dr. Kevin Walsh, Director of In-School Education of the Greater Alabama Council of the Boy Scouts and founder of the Council’s Youth Leadership Development Program, serving as keynote speaker.
