Chilton County had its third traffic fatality in three days on Nov. 29.

A single-vehicle accident claimed the life of Horace W. Horn, 43, of Thorsby.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency released a statement on Nov. 30 regarding the incident.

“(Horn) was fatally injured when he lost control of the 2014 Kia Forte he was driving,” according the press release. “Horn’s vehicle left the roadway to the right, re-entered the roadway and overturned several times, ejecting Horn from the vehicle causing fatal injuries. Horn was pronounced deceased on the scene.”

This occurred on County Road 51 south around 6:50 p.m.

The crash continues to be under investigation be the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division.
