Dr. Curtis W. Baker, 83, of Clanton passed away November 23, 2021 at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.
He was born Feb. 5, 1938 in Clanton, son of the late Clarence Baker and the late Everee Baker.
He was a dentist for 50 years. He loved to fly his plane, fish and be on the farm.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly Rion Baker; son, Christopher Wylie (Melissa) Baker; Daughters, Bethany (Jerry) Baker Hathcock and Alyce B. (Bret) Smith; stepsons: Chadwick P. Landry, Laison J. Landry; stepdaughter, Lisa (Rick) Anderson; Grandchildren, Chase (Jana) Baker, Ryan (Kristen) Baker, Nicholas (Erica) Lyn, Julianne Lyn, Brent Thomas Smith, Anne Mason Smith, Igor Smith, Jonathon (Ashleigh) McDonald and Jody (Robiayne) McDonald; great-grandchildren, Micah McDonald and Nathaniel McDonald.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Wylie Baker; mother, Everee Minor Baker; wife, Shirley Ann Cox Baker.
Friends will be received Friday, Nov. 26, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church.
Services will be held Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Carter officiating.
Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Cemetery in Clanton, Alabama.
