Lois DeVaughn Nobles, 89, of Verbena, Alabama passed away Nov. 2, 2021 at her niece’s residence, Chalice Kicker.
She was born November 23, 1931, daughter of the late Archie Mack DeVaughn and the late Dorothy Irene Traywick DeVaughn.
She retired with AT&T as a phone operator.
Surviving are her niece, Chalice Kicker; sisters: Euba DeVaughn Melhem and Clara Ann DeVaughn; grandsons: Matthew (Kristen) Taylor and William Taylor; daughter-in-law, Ola Taylor; special caregiver, Gayle Ewing; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Archie Mack DeVaughn; mother, Dorothy Irene Traywick DeVaughn; husband, Robert Nobles; and son, Robert W. Taylor.
Friends will be received Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Verbena Baptist Church.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Verbena Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Simpler officiating.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Verbena Baptist Church.
