A Prattville man died in a single-vehicle accident on Alabama 191 on Aug. 30.

According to a statement by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Highway Patrol Division, “Brandon F. Barber, 33, was fatally injured when a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Dylan Ryan Green, 29 of Jemison struck Barber. Green failed to yield to the traffic control sign Barber was holding within a construction zone.”

The incident was near mile marker 11 on Alabama 191 south of Jemison at around 9:15 a.m.

“Barber was transported to St. Vincent’s in Clanton, where he was pronounced deceased,” according to ALEA.
