The Chilton County Sheriff’s Office is again asking for the public’s help in a case involving three bodies that were found in a burned vehicle off of Highway 155 on County Road 969 on July 29.

This time, photos of individuals of interest have been released via the CCSO Facebook page. The three men pictured were described as “missing persons from another agency in Tennessee and were headed to Alabama for a job.”

Sheriff John Shearon said it is unclear what role any of the individuals had in the case.

“We don’t know if they are suspects,” Shearon said. “We don’t know if they are victims. We are trying to figure it out.”

Whether the three men were traveling as a group or separately to Alabama is also unknown at this time.

“We have reasons to believe the men could have been in either a White 2007 Chevrolet Suburban with aftermarket wheels or a 2018 black Chevrolet Silverado 4×4 Texas Edition with aftermarket wheels,” CCSO stated in its release. “Both with Tennessee tags. If you have seen these men or these vehicles, we ask that you contact us, even if it’s anonymously through our tip line, app or website and provide what information you can.”

Shearon said anyone who saw anything relating to these men or the incident on July 29 should contact CCSO at 205-755-4698 or Chilton County 911 at 205-755-1120 or 205-755-2511. because it may be important.

Tips can be given anonymously through the CCSO app or chiltoncountyso.org.
