Jeanette Pauline “Tootsie” Scott, 82, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 24, 2021 at her residence in Clanton, Alabama.

She was born April 29, 1939 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Richard Duren and the late Pauline Duren.

She was a lunchroom worker.

Surviving are her husband, Percy Scott; sons, Derric (Susan) Scott and Jody (Sharon) Scott; daughter, Sonya (Randy) Calhoun; brothers, R.W. (Becki) Duren and Lewis (Millie) Duren; grandchildren, Cody (Kaitlyn) Scott, Teala (Andy) Buck, Katie (Perry) Hilyer, Dylan (Lexie) Calhoun, Stuart Scott, Colton (Kayla) Scott; and great-grandchildren, Brooks Scott, William Buck, Joan Buck, Amelia Hilyer, Reese Runski, Lynleigh Scott and Parkes Scott.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Duren, and mother, Pauline Duren.

Friends will be received Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church.

Services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Nobles officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests to make donations to Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church.
