The Town of Thorsby will attempt to hold its Movies in the Park event this year on July 30 at Richard Wood Park.

It was initially scheduled for both July 16 and July 30, but will now only be held on July 30.

The event was cancelled on July 16 after some severe rain came through Thorsby.

“We were up here waiting to go over there last Friday, and it became a monsoon,” Thorsby Fire Chief Josh Parker said during a town council meeting on July 19.
