Absentee deadline for July 13 election announced

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot by mail for the July 13 Special Election to fill the District 14 State Senate Seat is July 6.
The last day to apply for an absentee ballot if voting in person at the Circuit Clerk’s Office in July 8.
This is the seat that was formerly held by Cam Ward, before he was appointed to serve as the director of the board of Pardons and Parole.
If you need to vote absentee, you may do so by calling the Circuit Clerk’s office at 205-755-4275 and requesting an application for an absentee ballot.
