Sherry Stroud Cooper, 70, of Clanton, Alabama passed away May 2, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born Dec. 19, 1950 in Clanton, Alabama, daughter of Barney Stroud and Dean Stroud.

She was a registered nurse.

Surviving are her daughters, Sheri Lynn (Nick) Turner and Jennifer (Hadden IV) Smith; grandsons, Hadden Smith V and Bryson Turner; granddaughters, Katelyn Smith and Natalee Turner; sister, Kay (Mike) Williams and brother, Bobby Stroud.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Welby Colyn Cooper; father, Barney Stroud; mother, Dean Stroud.

Friends will be received Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 1-2 p.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Clanton, Alabama.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 2 p.m. Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Dodson, officiating.

Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
