Kindergarten classes collected 579 canned food items that were donated to the Emergency Assistance Center. Donny Finlayson from the Emergency Assistance Center with students Kailynn Bailey, Levi Sosa, Kristopher Headley, Alaina Oldroyd, and Jacob Cullom. Mrs. McCary's was the winning kindergarten class.
First grade classes collected 225 boxes of gallon Ziploc bags for classes at Clanton Elementary. Mrs. Jones class collected the most boxes. Kole Wilson, Cayden Gadberry, and Jordyn-Frazier.
Second grade classes collected 565 cans of dog and cat food that was given to the Chilton County Humane Society. Mrs. McCarley's class collected the most.
Pre-K classes brought 240 cans of Play-Doh to donate to Butterfly Bridge Children's Advocacy Center. Jana Zuelzke with Butterfly Bridge with students Damien Minard and Chris Zavala. Heather Smith's class collected the most for Pre-K.
Third grade classes collected 142 disinfectant wipes and spray that was used
at Clanton Elementary. Blair Cameron, Lindsey Pitts, and Angel DiazBarriga Dominguez hold part of what was collected. Mrs. Adams and Mrs. Wells class collected the most.
