Headline: Kindergarten registration information released

 

Kindergarten registration is open for the coming school year for Chilton County Schools. Here are the steps parents or guardians need to complete for Jemison Elementary to insure their 5 year old is registered. Please contact your child’s school for specific information on registration.

 

STEP 1

Go to the school to pick up Registration Packet

STEP 2

Return Registration Packet and necessary documentation to the School.  We will set up a time to do an assessment on your child.

STEP 3

The following documents are required to register your child for kindergarten. (Parent or legal guardian must enroll the student.  A photo ID is required.)

• Current, up-to-date Alabama Immunization Form for student
• Birth Certificate for student
• Social Security Card for student (optional, if you would like to use for student identification purposes, please bring the card)
• Custody Papers, if applicable
• Proof of Residence—(only one is required)
  • Current utility bill
  • Current lease agreement
  • Property deed
  • Current vehicle registration (car tag)
  • Current home owner’s or renter’s policy
