Bruce “Chopper” Lynn Patterson, 65, of Verbena, Alabama passed away March 5, 2021 at his residence.

He was born March 31, 1955 in Clanton, Alabama, son of Jimmie Patterson and Mary Patterson.

He was a conductor with the railroad.

Surviving are his father, Jimmie Patterson; mother, Mary Patterson, sister, Cindy (Edward J. Kennedy III) Patterson and nephew, Matthew Kennedy.

Friends were received Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 1-2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.

Services were held Sunday, March 7, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Ledbetter officiating.

Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
