Chilton County Schools on two-hour delay for Feb. 17

Chilton County Schools Superintendent Jason Griffin has announced that schools will start two hours later on Feb. 17 amidst weather-related concerns.
“The delay is to allow for safer travel conditions for buses,” Griffin said.
Breakfast will still be served.
Employees are being asked to report to work by 8 a.m.
Temperatures in Chilton County barely got above freezing on Feb. 16. Temperatures were projected to be below freezing over night.
