Rex Edmond Edwards, 72, of Clanton, Alabama passed away Feb. 9, 2021 at his residence.

He was born Feb. 28, 1948 in Chilton County, Alabama, son of the late Eddie Edwards and Sarah Daniel Edwards.

He was an owner and salesman at Edwards Jewelers.

Surviving are his wife, Martha “DeeDee” Edwards; son, Andy (Shelly) Edwards; daughters: Heather (Phil) Smith and Sara (Jason) Bagley; grandchildren: Virginia, Elizabeth, AJ, Emerson, Caroline, Charli, Jacey and Blake; mother, Sarah Daniel Edwards; sister, Judy Woods; brothers, Randy (Tracy) Edwards and Danny (Tammy) Edwards; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Edwards.

Friends will be received Friday, Feb. 12, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Ray Dunmyer officiating.

Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, Alabama.
