Beloved by many, Elmer Dale Maddox born on Oct, 24, 1944 went home to be with his Lord on Jan. 29, 2021.

He passed peacefully in the arms of his adoring wife Teresa Maddox and surrounded by his loving family: Chris and Kelly Maddox, Darren and Tanya Maddox, Myranda Maddox Turner and Dale Turner, Melissa Windes, Carol and Dale Sewel, Cassie Maddox Cooper and Scott Cooper, Matthew and Jodi Maddox, 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters and a special aunt Faye Williams.

He is preceded in death by Jonny Lee Maddox (mother of his children), Katheryn Jackson (mother), George Jackson (father)

With special thanks and love to his Chattahoochie Hospice family: Carla Moon RN, Val Maddox RN, Renee and Tammy his aides, we couldn’t have done it without you!

A celebration of life will be held at a later date when his out of town family are able to travel back to Chilton County.

“Don’t make him mad,” do not mourn, raise a glass and whisper I love you and know that he loved you back … always have, always will.
