Carol Ann Cleckler, 75, of Verbena, Alabama passed away January 9, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery.
She was born Oct. 17, 1945 in Clanton, daughter of Claude Thomas and Mary Glenn Thomas.
She was a machine operator with Gulf States. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Lightwood Road in Deatsville.
Surviving are her husband Wallace Cleckler, daughter Misti (David) Jackson, son Mark Cleckler, four Grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, sister Mollie Thomas and many nieces, nephews, special friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her father Claude Thomas, mother Mary Glenn Thomas, brother, Herman Thomas, sister Myrtis Mims, brother Leon Thomas and sister Clara Wise.
Graveside Services will be held, Jan. 12, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Jay Mims and Rev. David Jackson officiating.
Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery in Verbena.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 6191 Lightwood Road, Deatsville, AL 36022.
