The Clanton Fire Department extinguished a residential structure fire on the 900 block of 14th Avenue North on Dec. 28.
They were dispatched just before 3 p.m. and arrived on-site to find smoke and flames visible from the attic of a single-story building.
According to CFD Chief David Driver, personnel entered the residence and had the fire under control in about 15 minutes.
Driver reported the occupants were outside of their home when the fire department arrived, and there were no injuries to residents or firefighters.
After an investigation, it was determined the cause of the fire was unintentional.
