Gerald “Jerry” Worpell,87, of Jamestown, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020 at his home.

Graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Clanton City Cemetery in Clanton, Alabama. Jerry is survived by his wife, Barnette “Bee” Gowan Worpell; son, Eric Worpell; brother-in-law, Walter Gowan and wife Carol; Nephew, Seth Gowan and wife Sallie; niece, Elizabeth Gowan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William & Mildred (Nolan) Worpell; infant brother, Donald Worpell.

The family has requested No Flowers. In-lieu-of-flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Roanoke Church Piano Fund. Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 61, Grimsley, TN 38565. Jennings Funeral Homes of Jamestown, TN is in charge of cremation and Martin Funeral Home of Clanton, AL is in charge of the service.
