Orville Newton Littlejohn made his way to his heavenly home on Nov. 17, 2020.
Orville was born on July 5, 1931 to Quincy and Zelma Lowery Littlejohn in the Liberty Hill Community. He was a long-time member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church as he grew up. Orville served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married the love of his life, Hazel Mullins, on July 11, 1964. After his marriage, Orville joined Shiloh Baptist Church, serving in many capacities including deacon and music director. Orville was a long-time salesman at Chicago Sales, having started working there while he was in high school and staying until it closed.
Orville was preceded in death by his parents, Quincy and Zelma Littlejohn; his sister, Willie Merle Littlejohn Hayes; and his wife, Hazel Mullins Littlejohn.
He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Carolyn Adams of Wetumpka.
Friends will be received Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.
Graveside Services will be held, Nov.20, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Ernest Fike officiating.
