Widespread power outages in Chilton County have impacted the south water plant for Chilton Water Authority.

Daniel Cantley of CWA asked that all customers conserve water as possible at this time.

Power to the south plant may not be restored until Oct. 30.

Crews with Central Alabama Electric Cooperative and Alabama power continue to work on restoring power both locally and throughout the state in the wake of Tropical Storm Zeta.
