Elijah Eugene “Preacher” Bearden, 73, of Plantersville, Alabama passed away Oct. 2, 2020.
He was born March 19, 1947 to the late Eugene and Helen Goodwin Bearden. Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 9, 2020 from 4-7 p.m. at Agee Brother’s Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020 at noon from Oak Grove Baptist Church in Plantersville.
He leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Tracy Bearden of Marietta, Ga; son, Alvin (Zsaquanda) Bearden, of Forestdale; grandchildren, Aaron and Ariel Bearden, of Forestdale; son Michael (Keslande) Powell, Fayetteville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Kelani Powell, Sonna Powell, Kain Powell, Kara Powell, Naomi Jewells-Crowley of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Lajuan Powell, Trent Powell and Korey Powell of Virginia, special grandson, Quentin (Rolanda Morgan) Blanding of Birmingham; special great-grandchildren, Eli Blanding, Thomas Morgan and UNecia Morgan of Birmingham, siblings: Carrie Oliver of Houston, Texas; Charles (Jackie) Bearden of Dallas, Texas; Hazel (Larry) Nalls of Plantersville; Linda Bearden of Alpharetta, Georgia; Beverly Nix of Plantersville and Renard Alexander of Houston, Texas, sister-in-law Maurine Goodson of Maplesville; sisterin-law Mary King of Detroit, Michigan and brother-in-law Terry Wilson of Maplesville, seven aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
