Incumbent Robert Hight has won his bid for re-election for mayor of Thorsby in the runoff election.

Polls closed at 7 p.m.

Hight received 223 votes, while his opponent  Tiffany Collins Hammock received 160 votes.

The runoff election was held on Oct. 6 after none of the candidates received the needed 50% plus one vote required to win in the regular election.
