Parole decisions released

Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles has made decisions on a few inmates with charges from Chilton County.

On Aug. 5, parole was granted for Brittany Denise Baker.

Baker had been sentenced to 60 months for receiving stolen property in July 2019 in Covington, according to Alabama Department of Corrections records. In December 2015, she had been sentenced to one year and one month for possession of a controlled substance in Chilton County. Probation dunks in 2016 and 2018 reported in Elmore and Covington, also led to a month and 15 days of incarceration.

Parole was denied violent offender Jason Anello. He had been sentenced to nine years and seven months for Burglary III in 2014 and served three years and 10 months. In 2017, he was sentenced to 24 months on a charge of Receiving Stolen Property I, and in 2018, he was sentenced to the Theft of Property I 120 months.

Marquese Deshaun Kine was denied parole. He had been sentenced to 36 months for possession and rec control substance — class D and altering the ID mark on a pistol in November 2019.
