The Chilton County Chamber of Commerce is asking for help from its fellow residents by searching for nature photos taken near one of the county’s lakes.

The pictures sent in will have the opportunity to be featured on the Chamber’s website and will be used to update its appearance.

According to the Chamber’s weekly newsletter, the weather is getting just right, and the time is right to capture some of Chilton County’s natural beauty.

If a photo is chosen for the website, the photographer will receive a $25 gift card and have their name credited with their work.

The following rules apply to be included in the contest:

• Individuals in the images must be appropriately dressed and display appropriate behavior.
• Must be action or nature shots. No “selfies” required.
• Imagery should make someone want to visit Chilton County and experience its beauty in person after looking at it.
• Please include where the picture was taken.

The Chamber is also using #LakeLife and #ChooseChilton as social media tags to follow in association with the initiative.
