Butterfly Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center unofficially raised a record-breaking $54,000 during Flutter 2020.

The event lived up to its billing as the nonprofit organization’s largest annual fundraiser.

According to Brittani Ellison, who is events, development and outreach coordinator with Butterfly Bridge, the unofficial total is considerably higher than last year’s $45,000 final tally.

“We are in awe of this community and the love and support that they pour into BBCAC,” Ellison said.

More than 300 tickets were either sold or redeemed for the event, which was held at the Back Forty in Clanton for the first time.

“We were so blessed to have Trent and Cindy Martin host us at the Back Forty,” Ellison said. “The venue was a perfect backdrop for Flutter 2020. It is a beautiful space, and even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we still had an amazing turnout.”

Proceeds from Flutter 2020 will go toward helping Butterfly Bridge continue their mission to provide healing and justice for child abuse victims.

Butterfly Bridge serves children and families in Chilton, Autauga and Elmore counties.
