The Chilton County Republicans will be hosting a candidate forum for the upcoming March elections Feb. 17.
The event will be held in the Chilton County Courthouse beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The candidates for the Chilton County Commission will speak in a question and answer format.
The candidates will first be asked some questions prepared by the Republican’s executive committee, then some questions from the audience will be taken. Audience members may also submit possible questions on cards at the door.
All other candidates will be given 2-3 minutes to say something about themselves and their platform.
The Republican and Democratic primaries will take place on March 3.
Ballots will include both national and local elections.
