Maplesville Council approves raises

Maplesville full-time employees will see an increase in their paychecks following a vote by the Maplesville Town Council.
The vote to increase the full-time employees pay by 3 percent was approved unanimously during the January meeting.
A vote on the mayor and town council salary for the next political term was tabled until the next meeting.
The town hall will be closed for Presidents’ Day on Feb. 11.
Maplesville Heritage Day has been scheduled for April 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Main Street. This annual event features community vendors, food, music and inflatables for children.
