Charles Monette Wilkerson, 84, passed away Nov. 26 at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Alabama.

He was born August 28, 1935 to parents Monette Wilkerson and Charles Evelyn Edwards.

He was a draftsman for the Alabama Department of Transportation.

Surviving are his wife, Doris G. Wilkerson; sons, Bryan D. (Cindy) Wilkerson and Glenn A. Wilkerson; daughter, Sherryl A. (Baron) Preston; grandsons, Grant L. Wilkerson, Christopher Preston and Stuart Preston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Monette Wilkerson and Charles Evelyn Edwards.

A visitation for friends was held Saturday, Nov. 30 from noon until 1 p.m. in the Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services were held Nov. 30 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment followed at the Thorsby Memorial Cemetery.
