Barry Alan Pitts, 72, of Clanton died Saturday, September 21, 2019.

He was born on Thursday, June 26, 1947 in Georgia, son of the late William Washington Pitts and the late Ruby Stitcher Pitts.

He was a business owner.

Surviving are his wife, Louise Pitts of Clanton, AL;  daughters, Laurie (Rodney) Buckland of Lithia Springs, GA, Samantha (Kyle) Sims of Clanton, AL, Sally (Kevin) Fichtner of Auburn, AL, Jessica (William) Trotman of Montgomery, AL; son, B.J. (Tia) Pitts of Clanton, AL;  Grandchildren, Savannah, Shane, Samuel, Hailee, Joseph, Lindsey, Lily, Olivia Faith, Katherine, Vivian, Lydia, Abigail, John Hollis; Sister, Vicki Boggus of Franklin, GA.

Friends will be received from  5-7 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. James Watkins officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
