William Gerald Logan, 76, of Clanton, passed away on September 26, 2019, at Jackson’s Hospital in Montgomery, AL.
He was born on September 1, 1943, to James and Lucille Robinson Logan from Coopers, Alabama.
William worked as a Press Operator for Clanton Advertiser.
He was a member of Chairman of Deacons.
William is survived by his loving Spouse, Maxine; Daughter, Anita McGowin; Son, John Logan; Granddaughters, Lindsey Whatley, Rachael Logan, Leah Tyler; Grandsons, James D Logan, Mark McGowin; Great-Grandsons, Vincent Whatley, Matthew Tyler, Nolan Whatley; Brother-in-law, Donnie Boggus.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, James Henry Logan and Lucille Robinson Logan.
Visitation was held Saturday, September 28, 2019, 1:30 pm – 3:00 p.m. at Chestnut Creek Baptist Church, Coopers, Alabama.
Funeral services were held held on Saturday, September 28, 2019, 3:00 p.m. at Chestnut Creek Baptist Church.
Burial took place in the Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery.
