Rhonie Gordon Johnson, 77, of Clanton passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Brookwood Medical Center.

He was born on Wednesday, July 1, 1942, in Clanton, Alabama, Son of the late Raymond Johnson and the late Berlin Frances Caton.

He was a Master Carpenter by trade, and a Farmer by choice.

Surviving are 2 Sons, Leland (Jena) W. Johnson of Byhalia, MS, Timothy (Karen) Johnson of Auburn, AL; 2 Daughters, Jacque Burkhalter of Clanton, AL, Rachel (Clay) Miller of Clanton, AL; 12 Grandchildren, Vance Johnson, Emily Burkhalter, Matthew Burkhalter, Stone Miller, Taylor Wyatt, Jeremiah Acreman, Caleb Acreman, Abi Acreman, Luke Johnson, Mallory Johnson, Micah Johnson, Charlotte Johnson; Sister, Julia (Troy) Mims of Clanton, AL; A host of other family; Special Caregiver, Janice Blake.

He was preceded in death by: Wife, Faye Johnson; Parents, Raymond and Berlin Johnson; Brother, Carroll Johnson; Sister, Geraldine Johnson.

Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Eddie Lightsey officiating.

Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
