Johnny Wayne Bowman, 73, of Clanton died Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.

He was born on Thursday, September 20, 1945, in Alabama, Son of the late Rufus E. Bowman and the late Louise Barber Bowman.

He was a Preacher/Paramedic.

Surviving are Wife, Janice Bowman; Son, Matt (Brigette) Bowman; Daughters, Kelly (Erick) Smitherman, Stephanie (Chris) Brown; Granddaughters, Braylee and Bria Duren, Karmyn and Kayton Smitherman; Granddaughters, Cambree Bowman, Anniston Taylor, Leah Wallace; Grandsons, Ethan Taylor, Lance Brown; Brothers, Ronnie (Shirley) Bowman, Tim (Vanessa) Bowman;  Sisters,

Linda (Tommy) Reaves, Beverley (Buddy) Barnette, Regenia (Sandy) Carlin; A Host of other Family.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Rufus and Louise Bowman and Infant Son, John Mark Bowman.

Friends will be received from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Providence #2.

Services will be held Sunday, August 25, 2019, at 3 p.m. at Providence Baptist #2 with Rev. Glenn Bonds officiating.

Interment will follow in Providence #2 Baptist Cemetery.
