Clara Nell Blow Carmichael, 92, of Clanton passed away on August 22, 2019, at Hatley’s.

She was the widow of Roy Carmichael. They shared 60 wonderful years together.

She was born in Chilton County in January 1927 and was a homemaker.

She attended West End Baptist Church.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Roy Carmichael, and her parents, William Riley Blow and Ola Jane Littlefield Blow.

She was a dedicated wife to her precious husband. She was a dedicated mother to her children. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana. She had a vivacious personality and always loved to make her grandchildren laugh.

She is survived by her four children, Roy Ronnie (Pam) Carmichael, Kathy (John) Cleckley, Lindy (Hodge III) Patterson, and Nancy Carson; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jay) McGuirk, Brian (Sarah) Carmichael, Lacey (Jesse) Blair, Kara Cleckley, Hodge IV (Kelly) Patterson, Jason (Laura) Cleckley, Claire Carson, Baleigh Carson, Katelyn Patterson and Corban Carson; great-grandchildren Riley McGuirk, Nate McGuirk, Barrett McGuirk, Cannon Carmichael, Townsend Carmichael, Scarlett Stockdale, Crockett Blair, Hodge V. Patterson and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 24, from 1-2 p.m. at West End Baptist Church with services beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Martin Memorial Gardens.
