Davis & Davis Insurance Agency, Inc. in Clanton recently celebrated its 25th year in partnership with Auto-Owners Insurance.

Regional Vice-President Sandra McCullough and territory manager Marsha Casey presented the 25-year plaque to the Davis family and staff on April 2.

“We are extremely proud of our partnership with such a trusted and valued company,” Bill Davis said. “Auto-Owners Insurance has certainly become an important part of our independent agency as well as an important part of the fabric of our community.”

According to Davis, Auto-Owners Insurance was founded in 1916 and has had an AM Best A++ rating for the past 47 years and is currently No. 375 on the Fortune 500 list, which is up 23 spots from 2018.

Davis & Davis Insurance Agency has been operating in Clanton since 1992. Bill Davis worked as part of his family agency and is a third-generation agent. His son Russ Davis continues that family tradition as a fourth-generation agent.

“Our most valuable assets are our employees,” Bill Davis said. “Currently, we have five agents with over 125 years of combined service. We have been truly blessed with such a tradition and company affiliations but our true blessing is the privilege of service to our many valued customers.”
