Margaret Juanita Walker, 88 years old, of Pace, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home Friday, January 25, 2019, with both of her children by her side.

Margaret was born December 3, 1930, in Chilton County, Alabama, to the late Odell and Mary Ethel (Rushing) Knight.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Marty (Rhonda) DeVaughn of Birmingham, Alabama, and Rita (Mike) Beaton of Pace, Florida; grandchildren, Brandi Devaughn, Brook (Steven) Peeterse, and Travis (Ashley) Tucker; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Brantley, Tripp Tucker and Luke Peeterse.  She is also survived by her sister, Bobbie Scarbrough; and two brothers, Billy Knight and Dasil Knight, all of Clanton, Alabama.

Mrs. Walker was greeted in heaven by George, her husband of 50 years; her parents, and her baby brother, Mickey Knight.

Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2019, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace, Florida.

Visitation was held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.

Margaret was laid to rest next to her husband, George Melvin Walker Sr., in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton, Alabama.
