Residents of Chilton County have a new option when it comes to realty.
The Chilton County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for new member EXIT Royal Realty on March 20.
Holly Deavers opened up the new franchise for business a few weeks prior to the ribbon cutting.
“Honestly, I am just so honored,” she said. “I am thankful that the Lord gave me the opportunity to open a new franchise here for our county. I am thankful for the agents that have come and joined me, and I’m thankful for the community, who has helped support me as we opened over the last few weeks.”
Deavers was introduced to someone with EXIT by a friend.
“(EXIT was) looking to open a franchise in Chilton County,” she said. “We met and talked, and it just worked out that I was the one who was supposed to open. It took about five months from them first mentioning it to me (to today). I had to fly to Canada and meet with corporate, the founder and the executive officers. I stayed there for a week along with my broker, Melissa Hand. We learned how to run a successful franchise.”
Deavers said EXIT can help clients with “all kinds of real estate needs whether you are buying, selling or investing.”
“We can give information to help refer you to different lenders for mortgages or loans, whatever they need,” she said. “We offer different services you need for your house. We have partners we can refer you to. We are just here to help the community as they buy, sell and invest.”
Several members of the EXIT team are familiar with the area, while others are new to the field.
“A lot of the people are familiar with the area,” Deavers said. “We have a few that have been realtors for a long time. We also have just as many that are new to the industry who are coming on board to be agents for our county.”
Chamber executive director Francine Wasden said the turnout for the event was great.
“Holly Deavers is doing a wonderful job on a great team of realtors,” Wasden said. “We are so happy that she is downtown, because it helps increase foot traffic and grow the area.”
“I’m so proud to be a part of the Chamber,” Deavers said. “I think it’s a wonderful way to get involved in the community. That’s one thing we want to do here at Exit Royal Realty is have a community service project each month. You will see that as we progress through the year. We want to be part of the community, give back and serve the community.”
EXIT Royal Realty is located at Elizabeth Hall in downtown Clanton.
EXIT is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
