The Clanton Advertiser has a number of special sections throughout the year highlighting different aspects of the county.

As the editor for Peach Living, I am biased toward it as one of our best magazines but each of the sections has something special to offer.

Our annual Progress and Faces and Places are also a few of my favorites. (Keep a look out for Progress 2019 coming in February.)

A few months ago, we added a new feature to our website to allow those who may have missed the print version of a section to view it online.

The Special Section portion of our website on the lower right hand side allows readers to view electronic copies of past sections through issuu.com.

These digital versions have all the same content as their print counter parts. The pages all look the same. Pages can be turned with a click. Several of the magazines from 2018, such as “Our Heritage: Past, Present and Peaches” have been uploaded.

The site also has a zoom in feature making it easy to enlarge the text if you prefer a larger font.

Past Peach Living magazines can be viewed on a similar fashion at peachlivingmagazine.com.

This new format allows residents to easily share publications they are featured in with out of town friends and family by sharing a link to our website.

But have no fear, print versions of past special sections will continue to be available at our office at 1109 Seventh St. N in Clanton.
