Raymond Oden, age 102, of Maplesville, died Thursday, December 27, 2018.

He was born Saturday, August 19, 1916, in Chilton County, AL, son of the late W.M. Oden and the late Eunice Oden.

He was an Insurance Salesman.

Surviving him are sons, Fred A. Oden, John P. Oden and Timothy R. Oden; daughters, Christine Sexton, Mary Weaver, Patricia Meigs and Doris Gibson; brother, E.L. (Buddy) Lawley; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Oden, sister, Ruby Wilson and brother, Marvin Oden.

Friends will be received from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Mulberry Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 29, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Mulberry Baptist Church with Rev. David Bishop officiating.

Interment will follow in Isabella Cemetery, Maplesville, AL.
