Linda Massey Hedrick

November 22, 1945 – October 28, 2018

Linda Sue Massey Hedrick, 72, of Alabaster, Alabama, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018.

A graduate of Fairfield High School in Birmingham, Alabama, Linda was retired from Human Resources at the U.S. Postal Service.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Mildred Mae Maddox Massey and Wilton Wilkerson Massey, both formerly of Chilton County, Alabama; and one grandson, Timothy Lucas Collins.

Survivors include Linda’s daughters, Pamela H. Collins (David Duane, formerly of Chilton County) and Jennifer H. Heard (Donis Allen); grandchildren, Abbey L. Collins, Andrew L. Collins, Emily L. Collins, Christopher A. Heard, Kenzie D. Heard, and Samuel L. Heard; one sister, Barbara J. McNees (Joe); and nephews, J.D. McNees, Andy J. McNees, and Brodie A. McNees.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Evangel Presbyterian Church in Alabaster, Alabama, immediately followed by A Service of Remembrance at 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham. Dr. Jeff Lowman will officiate.
